Friede Kieser-Maruhn (Nedlitz 1885 - 1947)
The love for figurative ceramics.
Only little is known about the ceramicist. She and her later husband Walter Kieser (1894 Krefeld- 1947 Dessau) had a joint workshop in Dessau since 1919. In 1925, the Waldkaterkeramik GmbH was opened. There the couple focused mainly on animal figurines, which were very popular. Friede Kieser-Maruhn passed away already in 1947.
