Josef Hoffmann. Vase, c1909. H. 8.7 cm. Made by Wiener Werkstätte. Silver, open pattern. Marked: Diana's head (hexagon), WW, JH, Rose mark, AB in a circle. Engraved inscription: Joachim. Clear glass inset.
Top rim with small dent. Provenance: From the interior of the Villa Schulenburg, Gera, designed by Henry van de Velde. The inscription refers to one of Paul Schulenburg's sons.
