Henry van de Velde. Eight 'Whiplash' biscuit plates, 1903-04. D. 17.7 cm. Made by KPM Meissen, prior to 1924. Porcelain, white, glazed, textured 'Whiplash' pattern, blue underglaze. Marked: Maker's mark, artist's signet, B1, 71.
Two plates slightly chipped, apart from that, very good, original preservation.
