Otto Poertzel. Snake dancer, past 1924. H. 27.9 cm (incl. base). Head, upper part of the torso and arms of carved ivory. Bronze, gilded, with green patina and painted black. Signed on the base: Prof. Poertzel. Brown onyx base. Please note that due to US law and live auctioneers policies this item cannot be sold to any US state or territory and to Japan because it contains ivory and/or rhino horn.
Fingers of both hands professionally restored, apart from that, very well preserved.
