'Lampe Arabe' - 'Le Jour' vase, 1892
Cup shape on trumpet stand. H. 29 cm. Made by Daum Frères, Nancy. Overlaid glass, colourless and dark purple. Etched and polychrome enamelled decoration with a heraldic eagle, heightened with Gold. The edge of the lip with a richly decorated ribbon with several storks, French Lily and Lorraine crosses, above the stand an analogue ribbon with bats. Signed: Daum, cross of Lorraine, Nancy (minimal remains of gilding).
The model was shown at the World's Fair in Chicago 1893.
