Literature:
With this figure of a sporty young lady in casual clothes, long trousers and a shirt with rolled up sleeves and a curly head, Ferdinand Preiss creates a new and unconventional conception of the representation of feminine characters, far removed from the rigid manner of Wilhelminism that had been cultivated up to then, free from allure and fake behavior. Catley, Art Deco and other figures, London 1998, p. 260; Shayo, Ferdinand Preiss, Woodbridge 2005, p. 180.
