H. 35 cm. Cased glass, colorless and dark amber. Etched decoration with sunflower, a large flower backed with gold foil and decorated with a green and a violet cabochon. Signed on the base: Gallé déposé (needle etching in a stylized flower).

In 1898, a design protection application was made in Nancy for the decoration with applied cabochons and rising sun. Reproduction of the drawing: Hilschenz-Mlynek/Ricke, Glassammlung Hentrich, Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf, Munich 1985, No. 238 (one version in the Bröhan Museum, Berlin, Vol. II, 1, No. 18).
