Barnaba Fornasetti. Three 'Tema e Variazioni' urns, 2000s. H. 29 cm. Made by Bitossi, Montelupo for Fornasetti, Milan, 2000s. Earthenware, glazed white, light blue and red, lithograph pattern with gold. Marked: Maker's mark, FORNASETTI, edition 162/299 ('Il fumo fa male', light blue), 033/499 (white) and 444/499 ('Serratura', red).

In the beginning of the 2000, Barnaba Fornasetti detected plaster prototypes of this shape from the 1960s in the archive of his father.
