Sudjic, Ron Arad, Munich 1999, p. 45. The original design for this lounger was created at a Vitra workshop in 1990 'Beware of the dog'. Experimental furniture objects were made from 1.5 mm thick steel sheets. The inherently harmonious curvature of the steel sheet has been further developed into controlled ergonomic shapes with surprising seating qualities. Series production at Moroso took place around 1994, but only about ten 'Spring' loungers were manufactured and sold.

The items can be viewed and inspected prior to the auction; they all are, without exception, used and of a certain age. Their actual state of preservation is - corresponding to their age and their used state - not being referred to expressly in the catalogue and on the internet, but is agreed specification (cf.
