Rare pieces by renowned designers are in high demand!


For example, the rare 'Factotum' shelf in the well-known style of the Memphis group, which doubled its starting price and changed hands for €15,000. The 'Steltman Chair' by Gerrit Th. Rietveld, in a rarely found version with a left armrest, was knocked down to a French collector for €22,000 after an exciting bidding battle.

In the Art Nouveau segment, designs by Henry van de Velde were particularly highly prized. The winning bid of €20,000 for the salt and pepper bowl ‚Whip' (1903/04) was awarded to a Belgian collector after a lively online bidding that started at €12,000. The table lamp by Henri Bergé and Ernest Schneider 'Libellule et renoncules jaunes' with a pond landscape, ranunculus and a dragonfly for Daum Frères exceeded the estimated price and was knocked down at €12,000.

The fragile lamps by Isamu Noguchi and Ingo Maurer were also highly coveted: the floor lamp 'Akari UF4 31N' was secured by a Japanese gallery for €8,000, while a pair of the famous 'Uchiwa' fans was knocked down for €3,000.
