Acrylic glass, silver-colored vinyl cover, cast metal, chrome-plated. Two acrylic hemispheres that can be closed to form a sphere using a hinge.

Danilo Silvestrin designed this icon of 1960s space design for his friend, the Düsseldorf photographer Lothar Wolleh. He furnished Wolleh's apartment, which also served as a gallery for the works of his artist friends, with a variety of futuristic, transparent furniture. According to the consignor, the example offered here is the exhibition example from the Cologne Furniture Fair. Provenance: Originally private property of the Lambert company's sales representative, then private property in southern Germany.
