Karl Schmidt-Rottluff. 'Two Poppy flowers' artist's postcard, 1910. Crayon on stamped postcard, addressed and dedicated to Dr. Elsa Hopf, Hamburg with change-of-address-order. Stamped at Dangast 10.6.1910. Verso handwritten by the artist and annotations by the postal service. "Frau Dr. Elsa Hopf Hamburg Bieber Str 3/5 Liebe verehrte Frau Elsa H., Ihnen hier nochmals einen Sommergruß vom 'Meister', der Ihrer doch so gern gedenkt". Not autograph: change-of-address: "z. Zt. Rantum / Sylt Adr. Chr. Nissen, Rantum 11/6" (pencil), "11/6 Rantum auf Sylt" (ink).
