'Love Welcomes: Welcome Mat', 2020

Door mat made from used life jackets. Ca. 42.0 x 69.0 x 3.0 cm. A linen label on the side, numbered on it: # 2805 (red felt-tip pen). Designed by Banksy, the doormat is hand-sewn by refugee women from life jacket scraps found on the beaches of Greek cities, making each one unique. The project was developed in collaboration with creative social organization 'Love Welcomes' and was featured at Banksy's innovative exhibition 'Gross Domestic Product' in Croydon, London.
