'Formula One Dress' and accompanying bag, 1999

Hand tailored dress made from original Formula 1 fabric with printed logos and two-way zip, printed inner lining. 147.3 x 42 cm (length and shoulder width). Inscribed on the sewn-in textile label, dated: July 1999, signed: SFleury and numbered: 31/100 (black felt-tip pen). Copy 31 of 100 copies. Manufactured by HUGO BOSS. With this object, the artist was inspired by the collaboration between the fashion label HUGO BOSS and the West McLaren Mercedes team: the masculine racing suit is transformed into a feminine dress.

The dress fits folded into the accompanying shoulder bag in the same design. In the original box, with an invitation card from HUGO BOSS and the fashion store HOLY'S Munich to the first auction of the dress in 1999.
