Each inscribed lower left: Max Klinger and lower right with Roman numerals: I - XII, first and last sheet additionally signed and dated in the plate: 1880 and comp 1879 respectively. rad. 1881. Published by Theo. Stroefer's Kunstverlag, Nuremberg 1881.

Loose leaves in original half-linen folder with typographic title and table of contents, closure ribbon defective, leaves partly foxed and water-stained and show marginal wear and tears.
