Wolfgang Tümpel. Candlestick, c1945-50. Six lights. H. 17 cm; D. 27 cm. Tubular brass, sheet brass and wire. Not signed.

Provenance: Wolfgang Tümpel and the consignor's family were on friendly terms with each other. The consignor's mother owned a photographer's salon in Bielefeld and took pictures of several of Tümpel's items. Sometimes, instead of a payment, she would receive an object.
