Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann. 'SAD'- 'Le Rendez-vous des pêcheurs de truites' chair, 1932. H. 81 x 45 x 47 cm. Made in France. Sweet cherry, reedwork.

In this interior for the Paris Exhibition 1932, Ruhlman displays his notion of the traditional 'rural' interiors of the 18th century with its deliberate simplicity and the choice of wood, massive sweet cherry and reedwork.
