H. 17.5 cm. Cased glass, clear and dark ruby red. Etched pattern, worked with the wheel. Egyptian Lotus (Nymphaea Lotus) on rough ground. Signed: GALLÉ, inscribed: Ges. Gesch., déposé (needle etching).

One of the jars was in the possession of the tsarina Katharina Feodorovna in St. Petersburg.
