'Anémones' martelé vase, 1905

H. 20.8 cm. Designed by Henri Bergé. Cased glass, clear, brown and light blue, opalescent powder inclusions, dark brown enamel fusions. Multiply etched pattern. Anemones, two large petals and one half opened bud as red on white application, worked with the wheel ('ciselées sur plaques'), ground martelé cut. Signed: DAUM NANCY, cross of Lorraine (engraved).
