H. 27 cm. Made at Bauhaus, Weimar. Nickel-silver, chased, leather, wood. Signed: Designer's signet CD.

Provenance: Aunt and uncle of today's owners. The couple bought the wine jug in Weimar or the surroundings of Weimar in the beginning of the 1920s. It has been in the family since. Comes with a wine cooler by F.W. Quist, as both objects were always kept together (H. 22 cm, D. 22 cm. Silver-plated nickel-silver, ebonised wood. Marked: Maker's mark).
