Small 'Phänomen' vase with foot by G.A. Scheid, Vienna, 1901

Slender vase, tapering towards the top. Cut no. 85/3994. H. 11.6 cm. Executed for E. Bakalowits Sons, Vienna. Cased glass, colorless and orange, wavy silver-yellow threads, blue dots, pearlescent matt luster, candia Phänomen Gre. 1/72 round and blue dots. Mounting made of silver with green enamel and three lapis cabochons by GA Scheid, probably based on a design by Josef Maria Auchentaller. A total of 55 grams of silver. Marked: GAS, Diana head, additional mark (embossed).
