'Red easy chair' with ottoman, 1931

H. 97 x 88.5 x 110.5 cm (armchair), H. 40 x 56 x 56 cm (ottoman). Made by Vereinigte Werkstätten, Munich. Upholstered beechwood frame with spring core on metal runners, sheet metal, chrome-plated, red leather. Integrated lights in both sides, built-in ashtray and cigarette compartment in the right armrest.

Original design for the palace of the Maharajah of Indore. Re-edition of the United Workshops, Munich, limited to 25 + 1.
