H. 84-116.5 cm, 66 x 82.5-123 cm. Made by J. & J. Kohn, Vienna. Beech and bentwood, Viennese meshwork. Ball motifs below the seat and armrests. On the back a metal rod with wooden balls as a support for the backrests.

This variant with wickerwork instead of the diced backrest and the seat board.

Formally, the seat machine refers to a 'Morris' chair designed by Philipp Webb in 1866. First exhibited in the hall of a small country house, Kunstschau Wien 1908; Moderne Bauformen, 1908, p. 370, reproduced in: DE Ostergard, Bent Wood, p. 258; J. &. J. Kohn, The catalog from 1916, reprint, Munich 1980, p. 68, 'Moderne Salon-Lehnstühle', No. 669 'Backrest adjustable'; Renzi, Il Mobile Moderno, Milan 2008, p. 160.
