'Grin Reaper', 2003

Stencil composition: spray technique and stencil on corrugated cardboard. 88.5 x 57.5 cm (cardboard), 110.0 x 75.0 cm (frame). This 'Grin Reaper' was made for the anti-Iraq war demonstration held in London on February 15, 2003 and distributed by Banksy and his colleagues. Many of these objects were destroyed or thrown away after the demonstration because Banksy was not a famous artist at this time. Please note that the 'Grin Reaper' is neither signed nor numbered. Banksy's Pest Control authentication board does not issue certificates of authenticity (COA) for the 'Grin Reaper'.
