Marco Zanuso. 'Lambda' chair, designed in 1963. H. 77.5 x 39 x 45 cm. Made by Gavina, Milan. Metal sheet, painted yellow, black rubber feet.
The chair had been exhibited at 'Italy: The New Domestic Landscape' at MoMa, New York in 1972. The design is still seen as one of the precursors of plastic furniture of the following generations.
