Current Exhibition – Karin Kutsch

In her artistic work, Karin Kutsch concentrates on the power of color. She combines a profound knowledge of pigments and their properties with intuitive actions in the creation process of her mostly monochrome color field paintings.

The effect her paintings have on the viewer depends on many specific factors. Kutsch works in oil or acrylic, on canvas, aluminum and paper. The artist achieves the impression of physicality through a glazed application of paint, even in small formats. A decisive factor for the perception of the picture is the incidence of light. Light activates the interplay of the superimposed pigments, creating a sense of depth or a pulsating overall impression..

We look forward to your visit to our representative office during opening hours.
