Top lots by Carlo Scarpa, Paolo Venini, Tomaso Buzzi and Ercole Barovier.

The approximately 210 lots on offer will be led by an 'A dama' vase in a black and red pattern designed by Paolo Venini in 1953, which will now be offered for € 24,000 - 28,000. Recently, designs by the company's founder have gained considerable attention from collectors - the rare and refined 'A dama' design is particularly sought after.

A bowl 'A macchie', designed by Carlo Scarpa for Venini in the early 1940s, is on offer with an estimate of € 8,000 - 10,000. Scarpa also designed the beautiful black ‘Battuto‘ vase with hammered decoration, which will go into the race on October 16 at the same estimated price of € 8,000 - 10,000. Let's stay with Venini and take a look at a small collection of thin-walled vases and bowls in the 'Alga', 'Laguna' and 'Mezza filigrana' decor by Tomaso Buzzi, which are particularly worth mentioning here due to their early execution. At the beginning of the 1930s, Buzzi developed this innovative overlay technique, known as 'incamiciato', for Venini. For the first time, Buzzi had a large number of glass layers, up to seven, laid on top of each other. This complexity creates a highly impressive play of color and light, especially when the lighting changes. The five top-class vases will be sold for an estimated price between € 2,500 and € 5,000.

The legendary designer and company owner Ercole Barovier is represented with twenty-eight works fo the highest quality. The Venetian, born in 1889, invented most of the designs for the manufactory from the early 1920s until shortly before his death in 1974. The earliest work in the auction is from 1935, a 'Crepuscolo' vase, which is estimated at € 1,600 - 2,400. In 1970, Barovier created the very popular 'Rotellato' decoration as one of his last designs - Quittenbaum is offering an example with the typical rings in red for € 4,000 - 6,000. The highlight of the Barovier offer is an over 40 cm high vase 'A spina' in a blue and milky white herringbone pattern in an early execution, which is valued at € 7,000 - 8,000. Glasses with 'Intarsio', 'Opalino a fiamma' and 'Sidereo' decorations are also waiting to be discovered.

The range of glass objects from Seguso Vetri d'Arte is also impressive, mostly from the pen of Flavio Poli. More than half of them date from the pre-war period. There is a 'Fazzoletto' vase from 1936, long before Fulvio Bianconi made this vase shape very popular at the end of the 1940s. Poli's 'A cartoccio con orlatura' vase is estimated at € 2,800 - 3,200. An almost 40 cm high vase in shimmering pink from 1937 'Incamiciato pesco oro' is based on the 'Laguna' decor developed by Tomaso Buzzi a few years earlier and is formally oriented towards a well-known Carlo Scarpa form; it is listed in the catalog at € 2,000 - 3,000. Of course, there are also the bubbly 'Bullicante' pieces and the elegant 'Sommerso' objects, the latter developed by Poli in the post-war period and celebrated as a great novelty at numerous exhibitions.

The auction features a very rare vase by Dino Martens in the little-known 'Astrale' design from 1956. Estimated at € 4,000 - 5,000, the pumpkin-shaped vase features red vertical ribbons on an opalescent background. An 'Oriente' jug is valued at € 1,800 - 2,400. After Dino Martens left the Aureliano Toso manufactory in the early 1960s, Gianni Zennaro created the series of flowers on a metal base; Quittenbaum is offering an example from 1966 for € 2,500 - 3,500.

Giulio Radi, Giorgio Ferro and Anzolo Fuga were all very successful for the A.Ve.M. manufactory. The broad spectrum of this manufactory is clearly visible at the auction. Starting with a blue 'Murrine' vase from the 1930s, through the elongated and perforated 'Anse volante' vases by Giorgio Ferro and the dazzling 'A reazione policrome' by Giulio Radi, to Anzolo Fuga's colorful and free-form vases from the 1960s. In terms of price, everything here is priced well under € 2,000.
